Dear Parents and Class of 2023,
One of the first steps to becoming a senior is to have your senior portraits taken. Most high schools contract one photography studio to produce high-quality yearbook photos that lend consistency to the presentation of the senior section in the yearbook. Consequently, we have retained Thomas & Thomas Photography for our photographic services. Thomas & Thomas has a long-standing relationship with Bay High School and is recognized for their excellent work and outstanding client service.
To be included in the senior section of the 2022-23 yearbook, seniors must be photographed at Thomas & Thomas prior to October 31, 2022. Prior to October 31st, seniors have three options to have their yearbook photo taken. The “Yearbook only” option is free of charge. Thomas and Thomas picks the best photo, retouches it and sends it to the yearbook. There is NO OPTION to order from the Yearbook only session. The second option is the “Yearbook Plus” and costs $60. With this option, the studio takes a series of headshots on the yearbook background and the student may choose their yearbook image. Families also have the opportunity to order from this session at any time as the studio stores these files. There are also various other sessions that include the yearbook portion as well as more casual senior photos (Indoor, Outdoor and VIP sessions). All session info can be found at WWW.TTWSS.COM. After October 31st, there will be a $25 rush fee for the Yearbook only option. Our yearbook runs on tight deadlines and it is crucial that we have the yearbook pictures to our printer as promptly as possible.
Male students should wear a dress shirt, tie and suit or sport coat. Female students should wear a black shirt preferably with sleeves at least to elbows. Guidelines for other senior sessions (indoor, outdoor and VIP) will be emailed to you when you book your senior appointment.
While senior portraits for personal use may be taken at a studio of your choice, we highly recommend Thomas & Thomas. Led by owners Sarah Edelman and Amy Laing Nahra, the studio continues its tradition of high quality photography and service. Amy and Sarah have reinvented the senior portrait experience. Their outdoor and VIP sessions are some of the most sought after senior portrait sessions in the greater Cleveland area (and book up very quickly). We're confident you won't be disappointed. Thomas & Thomas sponsors an academic/community service scholarship for a graduating senior each year as well various donations for schools and charities throughout the year.
